Job description

HHCC has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced RN Senior Care Coordinator. You will have demonstrated the ability to lead a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers offer support and report to the Accommodation Manager, COO and Director, and offer an amazing clinical environment to our entire network across the organization.
We are looking for an RN Senior Care Coordinator that is hands-on, very personable to be able to connect with clients and their families as all as able to handle complex situations.

A successful candidate will have

  • 3+ Years experience in a community based Registered Nurse position
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
  • Knowledge and experience in aged care, Mental Health, and Disability
  • Hold a current NSW ‘C’ class Open drivers’ license
  • Be able to lead a team
  • Knowledge of care plans, risk assessments, mandatory reporting, and restrictive practices
  • Knowledge of NDIS regulations and National disability standards

Key responsibilities

  • While assisting the Director and Operations Manager in the day-to-day running, you will ensure that quality practices are being met within the business
  • Responsible for the coordination of a team of Managers and Team Leaders, Enrolled Nurses, and support workers.
  • Meeting organizational goals and participating in strategic planning
  • Examining clinical incidents and ongoing high care needs
  • Reviewing and updating client compliance
  • Ensure that records/files are maintained in accordance with policies and protocols
  • Mentor our current Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers
  • Assist with recruitment for skilled and committed Registered Nurses on a casual basis
  • Deliver quality service in line with the revised standards of NDIS
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping and communication including timely reports and other documentation for all clients
  • Responsible for advocate clients and their carers to enable choice and decision-making that supports independence and quality of life.
  • Delivering complex care and specialized nursing services.
  • Provide clinically – focused supervision and timely training to other staff members while providing services.
  • Responsible to support your team by sharing your knowledge, observation, regular focus on NDIS updates, and promoting correct procedures by enforcing the right regulations, mentoring, and periodical supervision.

About the Role
HHCC is looking for a passionate candidate to join the admin team. We are looking for individuals who align with our company values of Imagination, Bold, Respectful, Compassionate and can demonstrate these daily. The role includes personal assistant support to the Director/ Manager/Supervisor and general office administration including reception, emails and phone responsibilities, client liaison, purchasing, invoicing, vehicles management, assisting client(s) in community, event planning, and management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent time management skills to adhere to deadlines.
  • Experience in working independently and as a part of the team.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Suitable qualifications will be appreciated.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience required.
  • Australian full driver’s license, the candidate must be flexible to drive across Sydney to meet the requirements of the position.

Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience for all clients, staff, and visitors to Healing Hands Complete Care.
  • Perform all Reception and admin duties.
  • Answering phone calls and emails and direct them to the appropriate person.
  • Data Entry to company software, Processing invoices, report generating, and compilation by using other internal devices used by all staff across the company. This will include liaising with IT and Payroll and HR team members.
  • Scheduling meetings for management and other managers and Calendar Management. Managing Meeting room bookings and room set up including video conferencing and catering needs.
  • Stocktake, receiving deliveries and ordering, invoicing, and other general administration duties.
  • Computer Literacy and excellent skill level using MS Office like Word, Excel, and Outlook, etc.
  • Supporting the Director and COO and other senior staff, including filing and diary co-ordination.
  • General filing and office systems management
  • Assisting in the preparation for marketing events and stakeholders’ meetings
  • Preparing communication bulletins for stakeholders, staff, and clients
  • Processing Client Intake and Staff applications
  • Maintaining compliance registers for staff, clients, and stakeholder in database
  • Assistance with project work, as required.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and overseeing maintenance of the office premises, ICT, and office vehicle.
  • Supporting the internal quality system through maintaining office systems and procedures
  • Assisting in organizing events such as conferences and forums, and other annual events
  • Other general office duties as directed by management.
  • To provide administrative support in all aspects of the Sydney Office’s operation, including but not limited to as stated above.

Candidate Must have:

  • Willingness to work outside standard 9 to 5 business hours, if required.
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
  • Excellent computer skills & system savvy
  • Valid Australian driver’s license
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain, if required
  • Possess and demonstrate basic knowledge of NDIS or catering to the needs of the person with a disability, knowledge, and/or training relevant to the position.
  • Any qualification suitable for the role will be preferred.
  • Compulsory third-party insurance on the reliable owned vehicle
  • General awareness of Work, Health & Safety.
